Prom 2009

Amanda's Senior Prom was Saturday, April 25. The theme was Masquerade, and since we are die-hard Phantom of the Opera fans, this was right up her alley.
This is a loooooong post, but it is literally just a third of the pictures I took, 25 out of 75 displayed here. It could be worse. haha.
Mom and Amanda pinning on John's boutonniere.

Suzie and Papa came by with Liam and Ava, the babies were not so interested in getting ready for Prom. Liam found himself a couple dino books, and was content to sit while they all bustled around.

Mom gave up...Suzie's turn.
(By now I was sitting on the floor so Ava could help me take pictures, hence the angle)

Stanton was getting yelled at for touching the mask, but paused to pose for me anyway.

Ava...we got tired of waiting on everyone to get ready.
What a pretty girl!

"Thanks Lydia"- John
I was "hired" to take pictures...so that's what I was doing...dang.

Now we are started with the real pictures...

... I was just taking enough so I knew I had at least ONE good one of each "pose"

..."it's hot"

"Wait! Get the GOOD side of my hair"

Moodles and Papa

So sweet
(I had just missed the real one, so this one is staged...oh well)

The kids were bored of the pictures, but they were good sports.

Say "Cheeseburger"!

Her red shoes...hope Mom got them, the sun washed them out for me...

Our favorite brother!

And- Ceasar.
Dad really wanted a picture of her with his dog as her "date"...so here it is. lol.
Love! Til next time!
(Stanton's birthday is this weekend, I'll have pictures from that I'm sure)

Easter 2009

Happy Easter!
It was a beautiful day.

They weren't really very hidden though for that age group.

And all the kids scramble to get the eggs...

Oooh, eggs hidden at the children's favorite tree!
